April 23, 1939 – August 20, 2014 Aumsville, Oregon Resident Glenda was born in El Centro, California to Champ and Lucy Rosanbalm and spent her childhood in Hemet, California. She moved to Independence, Oregon in 1952 and graduated from Central High School in 1957. She married Alvin J. Smith on June 28, 1958. They later moved from Independence to Monmouth in 1964 and eventually moved to Aumsville, Oregon in 1982. She worked as a Video Production Assistant for ‘Fishing the West’ and as a Program Syndicator for “American Fisherman”.   She was active with her children as a Troop leader for Blue Birds, Campfire Girls, Boy Scouts and Job’s Daughters. She enhanced life through her gift of Art, winning an award from the Artist Guild. She enjoyed doing genealogy, writing, ornithology, gardening and reading. Glenda devoted herself to her family and friends and will be remembered as the Best Cobbler Maker ever.   She loved to catch fish but hated fishing! She will be greatly missed by her husband, Alvin, children; Susan Smith Schooling, Steven Smith, siblings; Tim, Jim, Phyllis and Michael, grandchildren; Alyssa, Bryce, Madison, Christian, Hannah.   Memorial Service:  Tuesday, August 26, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Weddle Funeral Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, Oregon.
