Geraldine was born to James and Armina (Horner) Graves on June 30, 1928, in St. Helens, Oregon. She grew up with one other sibling, a sister, Lela Ann Gosser. Geraldine moved from St Helens at the age of 2 to Sweet Home where she attended Sweet Home High School, where she would fall in love with her high school sweetheart, James E. Mosher. Eventually, she would graduate and they would marry soon after on December 23, 1946, just two days shy of Christmas. James would serve in the United States Navy and Geraldine would follow him for two short years to live in San Diego while he completed his honorable service and she would have their first baby, Joyce. After James’ discharge, they moved back to Sweet Home where she lived the rest of her life and have four other children JoAnne, Allan, Linda and Patty. She and James remained married for 72 years, the majority of it was in Sweet Home. Besides being a wonderful homemaker, Geraldine was a secretary for Arlie Elliott Realty. She was an avid bowler bowling at Sweet Home Lanes 4 to 5 nights a week. She belonged to several associations including WIBC Bowling and USBC Bowling, being chosen to be secretary for the local association. In her own right, Geraldine would also win many first-place trophies in league competitions and bowled well into her 80’s. She also had devout faith and was a long-time member of Sweet Home Church of Christ. Geraldine would often busy herself with sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, reading, scrapbooking, and working jigsaw puzzles. Geraldine L. Mosher passed away on September 28, 2021, at her home in Sweet Home, Oregon. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughters, Joyce Wells and JoAnne Gifford; parents and her sister, Lela Ann Gosser. She is survived by her children, Allan Mosher (Carmen), Linda McNelly (Bill) and Patty Dale; grandchildren, Lori Oxford, Leah Guilford (Trevor), Erica Barrick, Dustin Mosher (Kinzie), Amanda Ying (Dalton), Tiffany LaGrange (Tyler), Melanie Dale and Brandon Dale; 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
