Gary Burnett

Gary D Burnett, 66, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on February 17, 2025.

He was born on October 28, 1958, to Jack P Burnett and Gladys L Ilg.

Gary graduated from Marshall High School in Portland, Oregon and following his graduation, he proudly served his country by joining the United States Marine Corps. Gary was employed as lifelong Truck driver. His dedication and service were a testament to his strength and commitment.

On March 18, 2013, Gary married Linda M Woodard. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Gary is survived by his Stepmother, Nui, spouse, Linda and his three sons, Chad Burnett, Ryan Burnett, and Jacob Burnett, and two Stepdaughters, Catina Schmidling and Crystal McGuire and grandfather to eleven grandchildren, as well as his siblings, Denise, Courtney and Justin.

Throughout his life, Gary called Utah, California, and Oregon his home, making lasting friendships and touching the lives of many along the way. His legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
