Fuzz

Chris "Fuzz" Steven Ziebart, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully in his hometown of Salem, Oregon, on July 24, 2023. Born on December 28, 1953, in Salem, Fuzz, as he was affectionately known by all, lived a life that was loving, handy, and adventurous.

Fuzz was a proud graduate of South Salem High School, class of 1972. His knack for mechanics and machinery led him into a successful career as a mechanic and machinist. His hands were rarely still, always eager to fix, create, or improve. Fuzz's adventurous spirit was often expressed through his love for motorcycles and machines. His joy was not just in the riding, but in the intricate mechanics that made them run.

Fuzz was a family man. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Lenore, and a loving father to his daughters, Layla Pett and Christen Wright. His pride in his daughters was evident in the way he raised them to be strong, compassionate, and kind individuals. His love for his family extended to his grandchildren: Magdalena Pett, Ila Rose Pett, Anthony Pett, and Ayla Wright, who brought him immense joy and contentment.

Fuzz was also a cherished brother to Roger, Patricia, Martin, Marvin, and Stuart Ziebart. He held a special bond with each of his siblings, sharing not only a family connection but also a deep friendship. His love for his family was unmatched, and his dedication to them was unwavering.

Fuzz was a man of great character. His loving nature made him a friend to many, and his handy skills made him a go-to person for anyone in need. His adventurous spirit was contagious, inspiring those around him to live life to the fullest and embrace every opportunity with enthusiasm and courage.
