Frank Jarvis Jeremy Newton

Mill City- Frank Jarvis Jeremy Newton was born on November 18, 1979 in Salem, Oregon to Cathy Ann Sell and Mitch Newton. Frank grew up in the Gates and Mill City area, he attended Santiam Canyon Schools. Frank worked with his father, Mitch at the family trucking company “Newton Trucking” where he would work in the office dispatching trucks.  From a young age Frank enjoyed sports such as boxing and football. He was an avid sportsman that would go target shooting, fishing and hunting as some of his best days were spent outdoors. When spending time indoors, he loved watching movies and also had a huge heart for animals. Frank had a great sense of humor; he would share jokes to make others laugh. But most of all he had a big heart and he was always willing to help others. Frank passed away on October 9, 2020 in Mill City, Oregon at the age of 40. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Ann Sell. He is survived by his father, Mitch Newton; son, Dylan Newton; siblings, Raymond Newton, Randy Thomas and Amy Dodge. A public viewing will take place on Oct. 16, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Weddle Funeral Servicec in Stayton, Oregon. A graveside service will be held at Lone Oak II Cemetery on Boedigheimer Road in Stayton, Oregon on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM.
