Francine Williams

Francine Williams was born on August 22, 1954, in Puunene, Maui to Francisco Balberdi and Trinidad Viernes. She grew up in Maui and while in high school met the love of her life, Norman Williams through friends. They would marry on January 17, 1975 and would be blessed with three children. Francine would work as a front desk hotel manager. She was known for being an incredibly hard worker, she won employee of the month 3 times at Kaanapali Alli Maui and one won employee of the year. Later, she and Norm would operate Fran’s Island Grill restaurants in Maui. Francine would normally work the front and host while they lived in Maui for 47 years. Norm and Francine would move to Oregon, where they would open the Taste of Hawaii just two years ago. Francine would work the front, host, and train their new waitresses. She was a friendly smile for anyone who came in and would always say to the girls “you are so sassy”. Francine loved to travel anywhere she could go and listen to oldies music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Francine left this world too early on November 15, 2021, in Mill City, Oregon at age 67 years old. She is survived by her husband, Norman Williams; children, Norman D. Williams III, Kalei Williams, Brooks Williams; grandchildren, Carina, Aron, Mireya, Bibiana, Mariana, Hilario, Esai, Christopher; siblings, Fransico Balberdi, Cynthia Cuaresma, Benji Balberdi, George Balberdi, LeiLani Kealoha, Fredrick Balberdi, Dianna Kaihui, Evelyn Balberdi, Nelson Balberdi, John Balberdi. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Eddie Agpaoa, Norma Lista, Sandra Hernandez, Camilia Lanse, Charlie Balberdi.
