Forrest Clayton Norman August 10, 1967 September 30, 2016 Gates, Oregon On the morning of September 30, 2016, Forrest passed away at his home in Gates, Oregon as a result of injuries received in a tragic quad accident that morning. Forrest was 49. Forrest was born on August 10, 1967 in Yakima, Washington to Charles Edwin and Vivian Maureen Norman. Forrest spent his life in the paving and seal coating industry. He was the owner and operator of a seal coating company for the last seven years. Forrest had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He loved to play tricks on people and was always saying wanna bet? and in my experience, dont do it! because you were gonna lose any bet with him! Forrest lived his life the way he wanted (fast and hard) and made no apologies for it and was the most generous man Ive ever known. He was always willing to help people out and it didnt matter how, whether he knew you or not. It could be pulling someone out of a ditch or bailing them out any way he could, without question. I could go on and on with examples of his generosity but everyone who knew Forrest Im sure will have their own memories to tell. Most of all, he loved to drive anything with wheels and he was always pushing the limits. He was happiest when he was riding his motorcycle or quads in the mountains with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Wendy Norman of Gates; his step-mother, Jeannie Norman of Moreno Vally, CA; 11 brothers and sisters, Edwin Norman, Deborah Norman, Cole Norman, Flint Norman, Blake Norman, Carol Acevedo, Geraldine Scoggins, Mary Lou Crabtree, Jeannine Hamilton, Wayne Norman and Susan Scoggins. Forrest had seven children; Deanna Kennedy, Cody Norman, Isabella Norman, Trissa Hisel, Harley Hisel, Nathan Naegeli, and Nicole Naegeli. And was grandfather to nine grandchildren. A viewing will begin at 10am on October 14, 2016, followed by funeral services at 1pm at Weddle Funeral Services. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services.
