Evelyn Jean Mccreery

Evelyn Jean McCreery Stayton, Oregon August 2, 1953 – December 30, 2010 Welcomed into this world by Lowell and Velma (Adams) Snow in Marian, Indiana, Evelyn was one of six children.   Moving to Portland as a child she graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1973.   She met the love of her life, Dennis McCreery at her church and they married in August of 1973.   They moved to St. Louis, Missouri as Dennis attended Bible School and then moved back to Oregon settling in the N. Portland area of St. Johns where they lived for 25 years.   They eventually moved to Stayton in 2000 and Evelyn worked her way to Manager at the Made In Oregon Store in Salem.   She was a hard worker and dedicated to her job and church.   She always put others before herself.  She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be missed and remembered by her husband, Dennis McCreery of Stayton, daughters; Rachel Marshall of Stayton, Rebecca Sartin of Phoenix,AZ, son; Aaron McCreery of Stayton, Mother; Velma Sutter of Colorado,Brothers; Lowell Snow Jr , Dale Snow, both of Indiana, Rob Snow of Tennessee, Sisters; Jane Dubin of Missouri, Theresa Sutter of Colorado, Patty of Indiana,  Four Grandchildren; Mitchell, Matthew, Jason, Anna Mae Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 3, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.  at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton, OR   Burial will be private at Lone Oak Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions can be made at Wells Fargo Bank in Memory of Evelyn J. McCreery Arrangements are entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services, Stayton, Oregon
