Erwin C. Jeffers

Erwin C. Jeffers March 26, 1937 – August 1, 2010 Erwin  Jeffers (Jeff) passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday. He was 73. Erwin was born in Caldwell, Idaho. He married Sharon Rolland in Weiser, Idaho on March 20, 1961. Sharon preceded him in death in May of 2000.    Erwin drove truck for the same company for more than 40 years. His great passion was working on cars. He recently restored a 1953 Ford Fairlane named “Pinky.”   Erwin is survived by his children, daughter, Dawnna and son-in-law, Ron Garrison of Dallas, and son, John and daughter-in-law, Angie Jeffers of Lyons, and one grandson, Jacob.  Erwin was the 8th child in a family of 14 siblings. He is survived by sisters, Donna, Della, Shirley, Laura, Sylvia, and Sybil and by brothers Donald and Charles. He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.  He is also survived by his companion Clara Bolinger and multiple nieces and nephews. A service will be held on Saturday, August 7, at 2 p.m. at Weddle Funeral Home in Stayton, Oregon. Internment will be at Lone Oak Cemetery in Stayton.
