ERVIN E.  LITTAU May 21, 1931 – Sept. 14, 2010 Ervin E. Littau was born at White River, South Dakota. He moved to Marion at age 6, then moving to the family farm in Shaw where he lived most of his life.  He graduated from Aumsville high school.  He served in the US Army as a Sergeant during the Korean Conflict.  He was married to Patsy Carter on Dec. 18, 1955 in Newport and they made their home in Bay City before moving the family farm in Scio where he lived the last 36 yrs.   He enjoyed his work as a farmer, having farmed row crops and berries.  He also enjoyed tractors, gardening and fishing.   In addition to his beloved wife, Patsy, he is survived by his children, Matthew (Judy), Timothy, Aaron (Pamela), Rebecca, Samuel (Lisa); brother, Eugene; sisters, Ruth, Margaret & Loreen; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great granddaughter. Graveside memorial with military honors will be held Sat. Sept. 18th at 2:00 pm at Lone Oak II (Campbell-Grier) Cemetery, Stayton, Oregon. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc.
