Elizabeth "Liz" Diane Fery

Liz was born on October 9, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Antoni and Anna Swiatly. After growing up in Chicago, Liz decided to make her way out west and spent time in California before moving to Oregon. Liz would meet John Fery, they would date for 8 years before marrying on June 2, 1990 at St. Vincent Catholic Church. Liz was an insurance agent who loved her work and retired from Wells Fargo Insurance. Besides work, she was a wonderful homemaker and loved to travel with her husband, John. Liz passed away on February 9, 2021 in Salem, Oregon. She is survived by her husband, John Fery; children, Dan (Sue) Hathaway; Antoni (Denise) Hathaway; Melissa (Ron) Umali, Monica (Jeffery) Honeywell; sister, Shirley and 9 grandchildren. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10:30 AM, followed by the funeral mass at 11am in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Live streaming will also be available.
