Leonardo Da Vinci said, "As a well spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well used brings happy death." Ed spent his life loving adventure and loving his children, both in equal measure. He often drove in drag races with friends during his youth and also climbed Mt. Ranier twice. He loved hiking and shared his love of the outdoors with all of his children. Elizabeth and Theresa were born during his first marriage, and Cory and Ana were born during his third marriage. He had always wanted children, and he adored all four of his. He taught us the vaule of spending time in the wilderness, spending time with family, how to listen well, and how to love well. And if it can be said of any man that he knew how to spend his life well and live his days fully, it is most truthfully said of Ed.  Private family memorial services will take place.
