SUBLIMITY - Duane Burlison passed away on November 7th, 2018. Duane was born in Breckenridge Minnesota to Glen and Marcella Burlison on March 26, 1954. Duane was a twin to brother David and was the 5th of 12 children. Duane graduated from Cascade High School in Turner, Oregon in 1972 and worked at Norpac Foods in Stayton, Oregon for almost 40 years. After retiring Duane took a part time job at Cascade High School as weekend security. Duane was small in stature, scrappy, and was not one to back down from any battle. He was kind and a caring person. His greatest joy was giving to others even when he had nothing to give. Being a woodworker and crafter, he worked diligently to finish projects to never miss a holiday or birthday. Duane loved hunting with his brothers and bringing back the stories to share. If you couldn’t find him home planting flowers or working in the yard, he was at Moms working in the yard and greenhouses and made sure he was still there for dinner. Duane had a unique charm, told silly jokes and when he was tickled, he laughed until he cried. He was a loving son, brother and father and he will truly be missed by everyone whose life he touched. Duane is preceded in death by his father, Glen, and brothers Perry, Terry and twin- David Burlison. He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Good and granddaughter Kristen. His mother, Marcella Burlison; sisters Glenda Moore (Pat) Debbie Lindgren (Greg); brothers Dale (Carolyn), Bruce, Dennis (Sue), Barry (Susan), Larry (Sandy) and Kevin (Victoria) and many nieces and nephews.
