Doyle W. Sullens

DOYLE W.  SULLENS Feb. 16, 1942 – Sept. 6, 2010 Salem, Oregon Doyle Wayne Sullens, of Salem, died Sept. 6th.  He was born in Stayton, Oregon to Ed and Loretta (Ditter) Sullens, graduated from Stayton high school and a graduate of O.T. I. in Klamath Falls.  He lived in the Stayton and Salem area all his life.  He worked at the Stayton Canning Co from 1959 until retiring as a refrigeration engineer from Norpak in Brooks, OR in 2004.  Doyle was married to Linda Hayden on Dec. 1, 1973.  He was a past member of the Jaycees and enjoyed wood and metal work. In addition to his beloved wife, Linda, he is survived by his sister, Diana (Dee) Hoekstre of Salem. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Sullens in 1973, mother, Loretta (Ditter)Sullens in 2009. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 10th from 1:00 – 5:00 pm and Funeral service will be Sat. Sept. 11th at 10:00 am both at Weddle Funeral Chapel, Stayton, OR.  Vault interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stayton, OR.  Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
