Doris Louise Reckard (Reed)

Doris Louise Reckard (Reed) Dec. 19, 1938 – Feb. 21, 2011 Salem, Oregon Doris was born in Lebanon, Missouri and moved to Salem, Oregon with her family in 1952.  She was married to Dale Reckard on June 15, 1962 and they lived in Valsetz, Oregon until 1984.  They then moved back to Salem with her husband and 3 children. Doris is preceded in death by her daughter, Dana Reckard who died tragically in 1992; her mother, Louise Reed and father, Fred Reed. Doris is survived by her loving husband of 49 yrs., Dale; sons, Dean Reckard and Darren Reckard; brothers, Fred Reed and Ken Reed; sisters, Marilyn Haxby and Carolyn Parks; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. At her request no services will be held, however please join us for a celebration of life on Sat. Feb. 26th at 2:00 pm at  the First Free Will Baptist Church, 1390 45th Ave. NE, Salem,OR.
