Doris June Frank

Doris June Frank June 23, 1926 September 15, 2011 Doris Frank, maiden name Kramer, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and good friend, passed peacefully at home. She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts and lived there and Rhode Island until her marriage to Robert Frank and moved to Cleveland, Ohio after World War II until 1964. They divorced and Doris moved back to Cranston, Rhode Island.  She was an independent woman long before it was popular.  Her last position was as an Activities Therapist at the Rhode Island State Hospital.  Finally retiring in 1992 Doris moved to Oregon to be closer to family.  Family, playing Scrabble, Bingo and volunteering at the Senior Center were great loves in her life. She is survived by her daughters; Karen (Skip) Coville of Salem, Nancy Frank of Campbell California, and son Andy (Maj) Frank of Stockholm, Sweden, Grandchildren; Tess McArdle of Salem, Zeila and Rhys Clarstedt-Frank of Stockholm, Sweden, Great-grandson; Keenan McArdle of Salem her medicine (She was excited to know that another baby is on the way); Sister Velma (Harry) Galblum in Bethesda, Maryland. Per Doris’ request, there will be no service held.  In her memory, please hug your family and friends and tell them that you love them. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
