Donald T (Tom) Younger

Donald T (Tom) Younger April 7, 1944 – October 13, 2012 Donald Thomas (Tom) Younger passed away Saturday, October 13, with his family by his side. Tom was born in Sterling, Colorado the fourth of five children of Albert and Bernice Younger. The family later moved to Oregon. Tom attended Turner Elementary School and graduated from Cascade High School. After graduation, Tom joined the Navy and served in Viet Nam for a short time. Tom married, had two sons, and lived in California for several years after leaving the Navy. He moved back to Oregon in 1971. He worked for Hammond Stage Lines and Pacific Trailways as a bus driver. He became disabled ans worked as an apartment manager/maintenance man. Tom is pre-deceased by both parents, two brothers and a sister. He is survived by his sons Michael of Oregon City, OR; Mathew of Clarksville, TN; eight grandchildren; his brother Ron of Floridia; and several nieces and nephews. As per Tom’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
