Dell Sterling Price

January 11, 1942 — May 22, 2022

Dell Sterling Price was born on January 11, 1942, in Huntington Park, California to Dell Sterling Price Sr. and Francis Katherine Hundhausen. Dell would grow up with his younger brother, Wayne who was born in 1944, but sadly passed away in 1988. Dell would mostly live in the Willamette Valley and worked in the timber industry. Dell drove long-haul truck all over the United States but as he got older, he wanted to be closer to his family and went back into the timber industry driving log truck.

Dell was honored with a citizen certificate of commendation from the State Police for rescuing people who were trapped in burning vehicles. He loved to help others, and this is just one demonstration showing that Dell always wanted to do the right thing. He loved working in the woods and driving log truck with his fellow employees.

He was blessed as a father, with two daughters, April Price, and Sierra Price. Dell always took care of his family and made sure they were okay. His best days spent were always with family.

He loved to have a good time laughing and joking, and his laugh and smile were contagious! When not working or with his family, Dell enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on his log truck, traveling, camping, golfing, and gold prospecting.

Dell passed away on May 22, 2022, in Lyons, Oregon at age 80. Dell was preceded in death by both his parents and his brother. He is survived by his wife, Christine Dunten; daughters, April Price and Sierra Price.
