Debbie Chesley

Debbie Lynn Chesley was born July 9, 1954, in Canton, Ohio, to Arthur and Norma Mae (Postlewait) Stanley. She grew up in Canton but when her sister moved to Oregon, Debbie decided to follow her. She settled in the Aumsville area and raised two boys. When the boys were young, Debbie married Dale and he raised them along side her. Debbie was lively and friendly, and loved to dance, but she was also an ornery redhead. Family was everything to her and she loved being a mother and especially enjoyed being a grandma. Debbie was a hard worker and always kept a good attitude, even when Dale was gone so much driving truck. She loved horses and enjoyed riding until she injured her ankle and couldn’t ride anymore. Debbie was a fighter and bravely battled pancreatitis for 26 years, though she hated being a patient. She passed away on May 27, 2020, with Dale by her side. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sabrina and her brother Arthur . Debbie is survived by her parents; husband of almost 27 years, Dale; her children Flynn Joseph Davis and Andrew Steven Davis; four grandchildren; and sisters Holly, Robin, and Sherri. Private family services will be held.
