Deanna Faye Lacy

Deanna Faye Lacy, age 76, passed away on July 22, 2020 in Stayton, OR. Deanna was born on May 31, 1944 in Pocatello, ID to Carl and Alberta (Stuart) Smith. She graduated from Pocatello High School in 1962. She then attended Idaho State University and graduated in 1999 with her bachelor’s degree. Deanna left Idaho to live in Southern California, where she worked for Transcontinental Collections. She then moved to Hawaii, where she continued her career in finance, working for First Hawaiian Bank, Liberty Bank and General Electric Credit Corp. Later in life, she moved to Arizona, where she worked as a Prisoner’s Advocate. She was extremely passionate about all matters related to law and finance. Deanna enjoyed riding motorcycles and dirt bikes. She loved sports cars, fishing, crabbing, social gatherings and her family. She enjoyed ceramics and crocheting. She loved animals and she raised miniature Schnauzers. Deanna is survived by her son, Darren Schmidt; her step-children, Andy, Chris and Karen; and her sisters, Karlene, LaRae and Lucy. Deanna will be greatly missed by all who knew her. At this time, no services will be held.
