Daniel Conrad Delgado was born in Pasadena, California on December 6, 1947 to Conrad Delgado and Corinne Lopez. He lived in the Los Angeles area until joining the U.S. Army in 1967. He served until he was honorably discharged December 4, 1970. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Daniel would move back to the Los Angeles area. While living in the Los Angeles, CA area he attended barber school in Long Beach, CA and joined the band, Betty & the Twilights, as the guitar player. He married in 1966 but later divorced in 1984 with a son, Daniel Delgado, Jr. followed by daughters Denal, Angela, and Andrea born. In 1971 He moved to Oregon and lived in Beavercreek, Colton, Molalla and Silverton. He attended Clackamas Community College to learn welding. He would then work for various companies as a welder, including the Portland shipyards, until his retirement. In his spare time Daniel enjoyed gardening, hunting, and spending time with family. His faith in God was very important to him and he was very involved in the church and community. On August 15, 2019, Daniel passed away at home. He was preceded in death by his father Conrad Delgado and daughter Andrea Delgado. He is survived by his mother Corinne; children, Daniel Jr., Denal, Everidge, Angela Delgado, Alex Delgado and Adriene Delgado; Siblings, Peter Calzada, Diane Mendoza, Richard Delgado, Christine Delgado-Hernandez, Sandy Delgado- McConnell, Rosie Delgado, Nancy Delgado, Maria Delgado, Candelario Delgado, Jimmy Delgado; Grandchildren, Brianne, Christina, Joe, Izic, Leilani ,and Richie; Great grandson, Connor. Memorial contributions can be made in Daniel’s name to, Habitat for Humanity, Oregon Cancer Society, or Oregon Humane Society.
