Dale Stanley Walczak

Dale Stanley Walczak, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023, in Mill City, Oregon. Born on May 18, 1938, in Oregon City, Oregon, Dale was a lifelong resident of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Dale graduated from Santiam High School in 1957 and spent his entire career as a dedicated timber cutter. His hard work and commitment to his job were a testament to his strong work ethic and love for the outdoors. Dale was a proud member of the timber cutting community and was always eager to share his knowledge and expertise with others.

Dale married the love of his life, Sharon on September 15, 1961. Together for over 61 years, they raised three wonderful children: David, Stan, and Wanda. Their family grew to include nine adored grandchildren and fourteen cherished great-grandchildren. Dale's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life, and he took great pride in their accomplishments.

Outside of work, Dale had a passion for hunting and spending time in the great outdoors. He enjoyed cutting firewood and took pride in providing for his family in this way. Dale's love for nature was evident in his hobbies, and he passed this appreciation down to his children and grandchildren.

A true sports enthusiast, Dale could often be found cheering on his children and grandchildren at their various sporting events. He was their biggest supporter and never missed an opportunity to encourage and celebrate their achievements. Dale's presence on the sidelines will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family.

Dale's unwavering love and dedication to his family will be remembered by all who knew him. His strong work ethic and commitment to the timber cutting industry will remain an inspiration to those who follow in his footsteps. Dale's passion for the outdoors and sports will continue to bring joy and fond memories to his loved ones.
