In Loving Memory of Cynthia Sue Myers
Cynthia Myers, affectionately known as Cindy, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, in Albany, Oregon. Born on May 7, 1959, in Oakland, California, to Bobbie and Jerry Leary, Cindy brought light and warmth to everyone she encountered throughout her remarkable life.
Cindy grew up in a loving home alongside her siblings, Michael, Chuck, Keith, and Pamela. She graduated from Dublin High School in Dublin, California, where her intelligence and vibrant personality shone brightly. Cindy built a fulfilling career in office administration, working at Canteen Vending and later dedicating her organizational skills as an administrative assistant at The Well Community Fellowship in Modesto, California.
A baptized believer in Jesus Christ, Cindy lived her life with faith as her foundation. She poured her heart into her church community, teaching in the children’s ministry, partnering in prayer, and planning meaningful events. Her devotion to her faith and community served as an inspiration to all who knew her.
Cindy’s passions extended beyond her professional and spiritual commitments. She found joy in the beauty of gardening, the creativity of cake baking, and the art of cake decorating. Her gardens were a testament to her nurturing spirit, and her cakes delighted both the eyes and the taste buds of many.
On July 11, 1981, Cindy married the love of her life, Sandy Myers ,in Hayward, California. Their union was a testament to love, partnership, and shared faith. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and mutual support.
Cindy’s life was one of service, love, and unwavering dedication to her family, faith, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers Mike and Chuck, and her beautiful daughter Candice Lynn Myers LaFromboise whose memories she cherished. She is survived by her beloved husband, James “Sandy” Myers, her siblings, Keith and Pamela; and her precious grandchildren, Ethan James Lafromboise and Aaden Charles Lafromboise and a loving family of aunts and uncles and cousins.
Cindy’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will inspire all who reflect on her beautiful life.
