Cynthia Ellen Waddle

Cynthia Ellen Waddle July 20, 1949 – September 29, 2011 Lyons, Oregon On Thursday, Sept. 29, Cynthia went to be with her Creator and family who have passed before her.  Cynthia was born in Makanda, Illinois to Charles and Ina Jackson.  She met the love of her life and married Johnny D. Waddle on August 4, 1964.  They made their first home in Farmersville, California until moving to Oregon in 1970.  They later settled in Lyons.   Her family describes her as the most loving, caring wife, mother, nurse, taxi and friend.  Cynthia found enjoyment in reading books.  She loved lighthouses and Johnny took care to make sure they visited as many as they could.  Along their travels she enjoyed learning the history of the land where she placed her feet.  Her legacy will be carried on by her husband, Johnny D. Waddle Sr., son; Johnny D. Waddle Jr. of Lyons, daughters; Rebecca (Steven) Colburn of Creston, Iowa, Dana Lynn (Robert) Fry of Cambridge, Iowa, sister; Kathy Hill, Eight Grandchildren, One Great Grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson.  Private Interment was held at Fairview Cemetery in Gates.
