Connie Sue Spalinger

Connie Sue Spalinger was born on July 19, 1966 in Newport, Oregon to Jerry Miller and Geraldine Pount Miller. As a child her family would move to Toledo, Oregon where she would go on to graduate from Toledo High School. During her live time, she would live in Carson City, Nevada before moving back to Oregon; first living in Salem and then in Albany.

She would meet Darin Spalinger at a New Years Eve party and the two would be married on New Years Eve in 2010. The two would adopt a daughter, Savannah.

Connie was loving and caring, and always wanted to help people. She loved cats, watching movies gardening and anything to do with Si-Fi. She also loved her family very much.

Her caring nature allowed Connie to have successful jobs in the customer service and healthcare fields. She worked for Blockbuster Video for many years, even working her way up to Regional Manager. She would then work as a CNA before a job related injury caused her to retire from that line of work. After that though she went to work for Fred Meyer in their Garden Department until she was unable to work do to her illness.

On March 19, 2022, Connie passed away in Albany, Oregon. She was preceded in passing by her parents Geraldine and Jerry. She is survived by her loving husband, Darin; and daughter, Savannah.

A Memorial Service will be held at The First Church of God, 1225 SW 15th Ave, Albany Oregon April 9th at 2:00.
