Clyde Ray Stanley

Clyde Ray Stanley passed away on June 4, 2020 in Salem, Oregon.  He was born on December 18, 1933 in Shidler, Oklahoma to Alfred and Mary Gladys (Pearman) Stanley.  On December 27, 1954 Clyde would marry Imogene Davidson in Roseburg, Oregon and would soon start a family, raising six children.  The family would move to the Aumsville- Stayton area where they would reside for almost 35 years before moving to Salem in 2005. Clyde would go to work in construction until his retirement working as a heavy equipment operator.  Clyde was very social and would frequent the local Coffee/ Donut shop to share and hear of the local “happenings”.  He also enjoyed playing golf and cribbage.  Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Mary Gladys and his brother, Jerry.  He is survived by His loving wife of 65 years, Imogene; children, Paul Ray Stanley, Roger Dean Stanley, Jimmy Alan Stanley, Janet Bartel, Michael Wayne Stanley , Sue Ann Schaecher; and brothers, Bobby, Harry and Wendell and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Clyde was loved and will be greatly missed.
