Clinton Leon Cole

August 12, 1965 August 11, 2012 Clinton was born in Reedsport, Oregon to Clarence L Sr. and Laura Cole.   During his school years he participated and greatly enjoyed many sports.  He played football, wrestled, and ran cross country.  He graduated from Mazama High School in Klamath Falls in 1983.  He was also a member of DeMolay while in Klamath Falls.  He joined the Army and served his country in Germany  and at Fort Campbell, Kentucky where he received a good conduct medal and was discharged as honorable.  He went to Diesel Truck Driving School in Eugene, Oregon and began a career driving truck most recently driving for Marsden Trucking..  He was passionate about car racing and devoted many hours to tinkering on his car and racing.  Fishing was an activity that was always shared with family and friends.   He and his dad, Clarence were fishing buddies.  He enjoyed Skiing also.  He loved life and treasured his many friends.  Green is his favorite color.  He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. Cole in April of 2010.  He will be greatly missed by his mother, Laura, sisters Virginia Grotts of Gates, OR, Cathy L. Naverrette of Anchorage, Alaska, Clarence L. Cole Jr. of Klamath Falls, Oregon.  A committal service was held at Willamette National Cemetery and will be laid to rest near his father.  A Celebration of his life will be Saturday, September 1, 2012  1:00 P.M. at Weddle Funeral Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
