Clydene "Kay" Turner, born on January 31, 1947, in Silverton, Oregon, to Clara Belle Chard and Clyde Charles Allen, lived a life of dedication, service, and joy. Growing up alongside her siblings, Geraldine (Allen) Tufts, Jim Allen, John Allen, and Terri Allen, she formed strong bonds and lasting memories.
Kay graduated from Silverton High School in 1967 and pursued a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a path she followed with passion for 42 years. She worked at Silver Gardens and served as a caretaker at Madras Hospital, where her commitment and skill earned her numerous nursing awards, including the esteemed Red Cross - Blue Shield Award.
An active member of the Silverton Senior Center, Kay was deeply involved in her community, volunteering at the Silverton Community Food Bank even after her cancer diagnosis. Her dedication to helping others was unwavering.
Kay had a love for the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and camping. She cherished group gatherings with her dear friends, creating many treasured memories.
Kay is survived by her siblings, her four nieces and six nephews, and her great-nephews, Kaine and Kaiden. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colin "Doug" Turner, her beloved dog Fifi, and many close friends. Kay will be placed alongside her husband at Willamette National Cemetery.
Clydene "Kay" Turner's life was marked by compassion, dedication, and love. Her legacy will be cherished by all who knew her.
