Clarence Earl Griffith

Clarence E. Griffith, August 22, 1939 ~ May 5, 2010 Clarence was born in Bellingham, WA and graduated from The Dalles High School in 1957. He began working on the Dams and Highway 30. In 1960 he met Karen Kallunki in Clatskanie and they were married. They moved to California where Clarence went to work as a police officer. They returned to the Salem area and he continued in Law Enforcement. He opened his own Alarm Company and later worked for Trails End RV parks in construction. He spent some time managing a resort in Michigan. He again returned to Oregon and retired from the Oregon State Police as an Auditor. He loved hunting, golf and getting together with friends and family. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Jarnagin; son, Michael E. Griffith; sisters, Charleen Johnson, Mona Frank; and former wife, Karen and 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
