Chuck Millus

Herman Charles Millus, affectionately known as Chuck, was born on February 26, 1956, in Lebanon, Oregon to Herman and Opal (Wetherell) Millus. He passed away peacefully in his hometown on September 2, 2023. Chuck was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew him.


Chuck spent his early years in Lebanon, Oregon, before moving to Dallas, Oregon in 1980. He lived there for two decades, creating a home filled with love and laughter. In 2000, he returned to his hometown of Lebanon, where he spent the remainder of his life.


Chuck was a man of many talents and interests. He had a passion for playing the guitar, a hobby that brought joy to both him and those around him in addition to gardening and landscaping. He had a special place in his heart for dogs, and he was never without a loyal canine companion by his side. An avid fisherman, Chuck found peace and tranquility in the great outdoors.


Chuck's life was a testament to his strength, resilience, and unwavering love for his family. He was a pillar of his community, a loving husband, a devoted father, and a doting grandfather. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.


In the face of loss, we find comfort in remembering the joy and love that Chuck brought into our lives. His spirit will live on in the beautiful gardens he cultivated, the music he played, and the love he shared with his family. His legacy is one of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and community.

He was the cherished brother of Curtis Millus, Ronnie Moe, Robert Moe, and Marvin Moe, and was predeceased by his sister, Norma Foster, and brother, Virgil Moe. Chuck was a devoted family man who leaves behind his loving wife, Barbara Louise Millus, and his children: Rhonda (Sterling) Alexander, Melody Hayes, Benjamin Millus, Elisha (Marc) Brunty, Sean Birkholz, and Charles Millus. His legacy will continue through his grandchildren: Justice Hayes, Jordan Lukco, Amanda Brunty, Kendra Fairbanks, Kaleb Millus, Jaydon Birkholz, Joshua Stine, Hunter Brunty, Edward Millus, Nathan Millus, Leighden Millus, and Lilly Alexander.
