A Loving Tribute to Christopher Scott Curths

Christopher Scott Curths, born October 27, 1980, in Lebanon, Oregon, was a man whose life radiated purpose, dedication, and love. The beloved son of Calvin Curths and Teresa Curths, Chris grew up in the Salem/Lebanon area, where he cultivated his passion for sports, fitness, and family.

A proud graduate of McKay High School in 1999, Chris shone as an athlete on the basketball court, displaying both skill and determination. His drive to understand the human body and its potential led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Sports Science. With this education, Chris turned his passion into a lifelong career dedicated to fitness and nutrition, becoming not only a personal trainer but a life transformer.

Chris found immense joy and fulfillment in helping his clients achieve their goals, often changing their lives in ways that extended far beyond physical transformation. Quiet yet deeply passionate, he spent countless hours listening to health and wellness podcasts, always striving to refine his expertise and better serve those he guided. His dedication to his craft was matched only by his genuine care for the people he worked with.

Chris is survived by his father, Calvin (Sue) Curths; mother, Teresa Curths; his son, Emilio Padron; brother Layne, sister in law Cecy; step sister, Lisa (Ryan) Morris; step brother, Peter Domine in addition to his nieces Giuliana and Emily and a nephew, Andrew.

His warmth extended to all creatures, and his compassion for animals inspired his family to suggest donations to an animal charity in his memory.

As we remember Chris, let us celebrate his legacy of selflessness, his devotion to improving the lives of others, and his quiet, powerful love for those around him. May his memory remind us to live with purpose and to care deeply for the people and the world around us.
