Christian Kimball Suchanski

December 28, 2000 — January 19, 2022

Christian Kimball Suchanski, 21, passed away January 19, 2022, in his mother’s home in Cedar City Utah. He was born in St. George, Utah but his family moved away to be with family in Oregon where Christian would spend the first 16 years of his life. He attended North Marion Elementary, North Marion Middle School. He was loved by so many because of his humor and ability to make everyone around him laugh. He was also very tech savvy and had a lot of success at a young age working on people's computers. After his father and mothers divorce, he moved to live with his father in Hillsboro, Oregon where he continued his academic success and lettering in both cross country, track and swimming. He was in a college level program aimed at getting his associates degree upon high school graduation. His mother decided to move to Utah and Christian wanted to come along. Still on track to get his associates, he enrolled in a program through UVU. They followed his sister to Cedar City, Utah where he graduated early from high school and the intention was to take classes from SUU. He decided to move out on his own with roommates and from there made not very good choices. He struggled for years with schizophrenia and instead of staying on doctor prescribed medications he decided to self-medicate. He did that for a couple of years but realized it was not bringing him the happiness he desired. He went back on medication after moving back in with his mother. He became an online influencer through platforms such as Tik Tok and YouTube helping people understand the mind of a schizophrenic. He died with 30,000 followers and a viral video that had almost 300,000 views. Lots of comments from nurses and medical staff grateful to hear what's happening inside the mind of someone experiencing psychosis. His friends described him as a “good, loyal, genuine, friend with quiet intelligence, great ambition, insightful and witty, but had a hilarious fun side as well. He had a passion for life and diligently sought for ways to self-improve”. Despite his positive changes and getting on prescribed medications he still struggled some with depression. He was found in his comfortable garage where he filmed most of his Tik Tok and YouTube shows. The medical examiner and detectives ruled it a heroin/fentanyl overdose. After talking to Christian’s friends his mother found out he had tried the drug 3 months prior. Fentanyl is a deadly drug. Christian was never a heroin user prior to this and even spoke out on the harsh drugs. Family and friends were shocked and surprised. He is survived by his father Jeremy Suchanski, his mother Karrie Lamme, brothers Jeremy Suchansk, Bryan Suchanski, Ammon Suchanski and his sister Victoria Sorensen.
