Charles Jennings

Charles “Bud” David Jennings, born March 28, 1938, in Coos Bay, Oregon, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was raised in the Estacada and Independence areas.

Bud worked for many years at Capitol Awning in Turner, Oregon, where he was known for his dedication and craftsmanship. On July 17, 1970, he married the love of his life, Alberta Olson, in Reno, Nevada. Together they built a life filled with love and family. Together, they lived in Stayton for 28 years and the last 18 years in Salem, Oregon.

He is survived by his wife, Alberta Jennings; sons, Harold (Sara) Jennings and William “Bill” (Tina) Jennings and was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren Jordan (David), Jonathan (Mikayla), Tatumn, Teaghan, and Crosby. In addition to three great grandchildren, Ani, Greyson and Peyton. Bud will be remembered for his steady presence, warm smile, and the deep love he had for his family.

He will be greatly missed.
