Charles James Wright

Charles James Wright was born on November 2, 1965 in Roseburg, Oregon to William and Ramona (Barr) Wright.
On April 15, 1987 Charles enlisted in the United States Navy. He would go on to serve for 23 years before retiring on April 30, 2010 with the rating of Aviation Support Equipment Technician Chief Petty Officer. After retiring from the Navy, Charles would move around a bit before settling in Monroe, Oregon.
Charles had a glass half full personality and a bright smile. He enjoyed meeting new people and could always make a friend. If someone was in need, he did his best to help where he could. Charles was a Hacky Sack enthusiast but also enjoyed reading and being outdoors.
On February 20, 2022 Charles passed away in Albany, Oregon. He was preceded in passing by his parents William and Ramona. Charles is survived by his children, Jennifer Wright, Christopher (Nicole) Wright, Traci Wright, and Patrisha Wright; grandchildren, Jazmine, Jiselle, Jesslyn, Aiden, Evangelina, Nathaniel, and Noelle; and siblings, Joseph, Alisa, Karen, Debi, Gary, Jeffery, Jennifer and Jacob.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday March 11 at Alpine Cemetery in Monroe, Oregon.
