Charles H. Wiley

Charles Wiley, 79, of Scio, passed away Monday, November 5th.  Charles was born in Sarcoxie, Missouri on August 10, 1933.  He graduated from high school in Missouri.  He served our country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era.  He lived in Bakersfield, California before moving to Oregon in 1978.  He was married to Susan Wall on April 21, 1980 in Hawaii and they made their home in Scio.  Charles had worked as a Foreman for Powell Scales in Scio for 22 years before retiring.  Together with his wife they raised and trained Weimaraner dogs.  He enjoyed fishing.  In addition to his wife, Susan he is survived by his sons, Jeff Wiley Glascock of North Carolina, Michael Wiley Glascock of Texas; daughter, Cathy Sandoval of New Mexico; son, Michael Mullins of Las Vegas; daughter, Traci Olsen of Lebanon; sister, Kay Dornbush of Texas; and numerous grand and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Dwayne Wiley Glascock.  At his request no service is planned.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Evergreen Hospice, 1046 6th Ave SW, Albany, OR 97321.
