Chad WilliamRay Orman, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 24, 2023, in his hometown of Salem, Oregon. Born on March 15, 1990, to Louis Wayne and Susan (Hansen) Orman, Chad was a source of joy and pride for his family.
Chad grew up alongside his sister Ashley, who is married to Anthony, and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first niece. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louis and Jo Orman, his grandpa’s, Vik Golik and Robert Hansen.
Chad was a proud graduate of North Salem High School, class of 2008. He had a knack for woodworking, a skill he further developed at Shangri La, where he was a valued member of the team. His work was a testament to his diligence and the pride he took in his craft.
Chad had a deep love for the outdoors, often found shredding the sand dunes in Florence and Sand Lake on his Honda 300 quad with his dad. These moments of adventure and camaraderie were cherished by Chad and will be fondly remembered by those who loved him. In addition to his passion for outdoor activities, Chad had a penchant for tinkering and was exceptionally good with his hands. The gazebo and kitchen table he built with his dad stand as a testament to his talent. With his mom, Sue, Chad was always eager to help her. Whether it was shopping or spending time cooking in the kitchen, those moments will always be deeply treasured thinking of Chad preparing a delicious meal in the kitchen with her.
Chad also enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Kayla, who was a source of immense happiness in his life. He was also good with electronics and loved playing computer games, often sharing this hobby with his friends and family.
Chad was loving, kind, and handy - words that only begin to describe his dynamic persona. He was always ready to lend a hand, to help, to fix, to mend, and to build. His kindness reached beyond his family and friends, touching the lives of all those who crossed his path.
Chad WilliamRay Orman's life, though cut short, was filled with love, service, and a spirit of adventure. His memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know him. His loss will be deeply felt, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones.
In the end, Chad's life was not defined by the years in his life, but by the life in his years. He lived fully, loved deeply, and left a lasting impact on all those around him. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the memories of those who loved him. At his request no services will take place, his family suggests honoring Chad with a donation to a charity of choice.
