Cary Albert Campbell, born on August 16, 1951, in Eugene, Oregon, to Betty J. and Clark A. Campbell, peacefully departed from this world on January 30, 2024, in Philomath, Oregon. He spent his formative years alongside his beloved siblings, Karen, Jim, “CA” Clark, Steve, and Kathy, creating a lifetime of cherished memories.

Cary graduated from Alsea High School and dedicated himself to a career in the logging industry, where his hard work and dedication left an indelible mark. A patriot at heart, he proudly served in the United States Army for four years, embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment.

A man of the outdoors, Cary found solace in the quietude of nature, with hunting being one of his favorite pastimes. On December 31, 1988, Cary united his life with Karen Lue Leonberger in matrimony in Alsea, Oregon, creating a union that lasted a lifetime.

Cary was preceded in death by his parents, Betty J. and Clark A. Campbell, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dedication. He is survived by his devoted wife, Karen Lue Campbell, and his children, Christopher Michael Blue Campbell and Cherry Tiffany Hershell Campbell. Additionally, Cary's love extended to his stepchildren, Pamela Dove, Melanie Thain-Clark, and Jessica Rash.

His grandchildren, Marissa, Arielle, Tamara, Jaxxson, Hayden, and Lilly, were the joy of his life, and he also embraced his step-grandchildren, Zachary, Miranda, Ryan, Brittany, Alexis, and Kaitlyn, with open arms. Cary's impact reverberates through the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness and generosity.

Cary leaves behind a close-knit family, including his siblings Karen, Jim, Steve, “CA” Clark and Kathy, who will forever cherish the memories they shared.
