Carmen Marie Dudley

Carmen Marie (O’Hara) Dudley was born on February 6, 1975 in Kansas City, Kansas to Floyd and Darla (Ghale) O’Hara. Carmen was one of four children. At age 5, her family moved to Hood River, Oregon where she grew up and attended Hood River High School. Eventually, Carmen would marry Jason Dudley, Sr. and they were blessed three children, Sabrina, Jason Jr. and Justin. Carmen was able to be a stay-at-home mom and do in home daycare in those early years. Eventually, she and Jason would divorce but always remained friends. In 1994, Carmen would move to Stayton, Oregon and made it her home. She became friends with Graham Mackey in 2001 and they would become life partners in 2007. Once her children were older, Carmen would work as a CNA doing in home care which she loved. The last two years, Carmen was the day cook at the Bottle Factory. She was a tremendous cook and even more so had a wonderful bubbly personality. Carmen considered herself a “Mama Bear” to her children and was a mother to every person she met. Besides work, Carmen could sing it out with the best of them at Karaoke, play pool with the best of them and crafted like no other! She could crochet, paint ceramics and was overall just very artistic. All in all, Carmen had a big heart and was loyal to many. On April 30, 2021, Carmen passed away unexpectedly at age 46 in Stayton, Oregon. Carmen’s wonderful qualities will be missed deeply by her family. She was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene O’Hara. She is survived by her life partner, Graham Mackay; children, Sabrina Marie Dudley, Jason Takota Dudley, Jr., Justin Aaron Dudley; siblings, Aaron O’ Hara and Shaunna O’Hara in addition to many other extended family members and friends.
