Burton Park Lee, Jr.

Born on June 25, 1938 in Portland Oregon to Burton Sr. and Grace Lee. He grew up in Portland and throughout his life owned several restaurants including Burt Lee’s in Portland and in Salem owned The Tahiti. He would retire after 50 years of business. Burt would meet Karin his wife of 37 years and together they enjoyed dancing, traveling, and many casino trips. Burt passed away on March 24, 2022 in Salem at age 83. He is survived by his wife, Karin Lee of Sublimity; children, Jeff Lee of San Diego, Lisa (Tom) Thornton of Erie, Pennsylvania; step daughter Irene (Terry) Ennis of Scio; step son, Steve Chandler (Susie Foster); 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. In addition to numerous family and friends. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burt will be forever loved and missed.
