Bridgette was born July 9th, 1965, to Jerry Saxon and Diane Prouty in San Francisco, California. Bridgette was raised by Micheal Levin (deceased) and Diane. Her grandfather Walter and Grandmother Nonie had a large part in her childhood and she had very fond memories of them. She was a fierce woman who knew how to hold her own. This would serve her through life and is instilled in her children. In 1986 on August 30th she married her husband Jay D. Reed in Wyoming and then moved to Oregon where they had twins on Christmas in 1990; Matthew Adam Reed and Kathryn Rose Nass (Reed). Her family was her everything. She was always there to support them through every moment whether it be taekwondo and dance practices to concerts and plays through school. She loved to travel with her husband and made several trips across the country by car. She was an active member in the Capital Area Mustang Club and enjoyed riding beside Jay in their convertible on cruises around the state. Her love for Disneyland and for Tigger were immense. Bridgette loved her pets known as fur babies and was always happy to share pictures if someone asked. She was an active education union member and activist for students. Her love for students with unique needs was felt by all she came in contact with. She was considered a bonus parent to many students within the schools she worked. As she grew older she got to experience being a Grandma/Nana first to her son Matthew and daughter-in-laws Elizabeth Reed (O’Brien) son Jonathan Rolen and then to her daughter Katy and son-in-laws Matt Nass son Griffey Nass. She is survived by her Husband Jay, children Matthew and Katy (29), her children’s spouses Elizabeth and Matt, sisters Cyndi Howard and Jenene Hinson, father Jerry Saxon, mother Diane DiJenno and grandsons Jonathan (12) and Griffey (11.5 months).
