Brenda M. Myers

Brenda Maria Myers February 24, 1947 April 1, 2015 Scio, Oregon Brenda Myers was born in Shelbina, Missouri to Harry and Elizabeth Studer. Brenda granduated from Woodburn High School and then attended Oregon State University where she received her Bachelors Degree in 1970. She met Richard (Dick) Myers and they married in 1972. The family moved to Scio in 1978, where they have resided ever since. Brenda always had a love of animals. She grew this love into a new hobby in her later years; raising and showing Black and Tan Coonhounds. She successfully raised and showed champion dogs and participated in shows around the West Coast. Brenda was loved by all who knew her; including family, friends, co-workers, and competitors in the show ring. She will be greatly missed. Brenda is survived by her husband Richard, her children Rich (Karen) Myers, Mary Kriner, Paul (Jennifer) Myers, and Sara Pennell. Her brother Harry (Carol) Studer and her sister Bette (Norm) Gutcher also survive her as well as her many grandchildren. A Memorial Service is being held on April 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Scio Christian Church. The family requests donations be made in Brendas name to Doernbechers Childrens Hospital or St. Jude Childrens Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton Oregon
