Bobby June Thurman

July 26, 1930 – April 28, 2011 Bobby June Hall was born in Gladstone, New Mexico to George and Vera Hall and grew up in Grenville.  She married Bobby Joe Thurman and they traveled the world during his Military career.   She worked as an accountant.   Divorced in 1964,  she raised her family in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  She remarried Bobby Joe in 1984 and they moved to Washington State. She worked with her son, Jerry for several years at Farm Service Agency in Davenport.  A lifelong Baptist, however Bobby and her husband and son attended Harvest Celebration Church for several years.  After the death of her husband in 1998 she moved to Choctaw, Oklahoma to be near her son Brian and his family.  Mill City, Oregon became her final home with son, Joe and wife.   Bingo and going to the Casino were favorite activities as well as watching Wheel of Fortune. She also found solace in reading.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Thurman, sons; Gary Keith Thurman, Brian Edward Thurman and daughter, Karen Jeanette Thurman.  She will be dearly missed by her sons; Joe Thurman, Jerry Thurman, Terry Thurman, Bob Thurman, Glen Thurman, David Thurman, Dwayne Thurman, brothers; Jerry Hall, Larry Hall, Jackie Hall, sister, Georgia Mae , 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Graveside services will be held on Friday,  May 6, 2011   12:00 P.M. at Mountain View Cemetery.
