Mill City-“Bobbie” Roberta Dell Calhoun was born on March 12,1967 in Happy Camp, California to Eugene and Alice (Stout) Calhoun. She would graduate from high school and throughout her life held positions as a caretaker, forklift operator and her most important job in life was being a mom to her kids. Bobbie would spend most life her life living in the Santiam Canyon between Lyons and Mill City.Bobbie was a lover of art, she loved to draw and enjoyed cooking. She would cook for those who needed it and Bobbie always wanted to take care of other people. She was an amazing cook, and her food was delicious! Besides cooking she enjoyed fast cars, shooting guns and big parties with her family. At one point in her life, she began to take care of an elderly man that had helped her previously. There are many impacted in her death, and we just want you all to know she loved you.A celebration of life will be held on October 24th at 3 P.M. at John Neal Park, there will be a BBQ, but we welcome you to bring food and beer. We will have good food and music, just like how mom would have liked. We know she touched a lot of hearts. Bobbie was preceded in death by her siblings Nadine and Henry.
