Billy Wayne Loftin

Billy Wayne Loftin was born May 16, 1966, in Stayton, Oregon, to Clifton and Charlene (Wylam) Loftin. Billy grew up with three brothers and a sister. His family moved around quite a bit and ended up in California where Billy attended high school. Just shy of graduation, Billy left high school and started a family, becoming father to two sons. He joined the National Guard and served from 1990 to 1993, during which time he did earn his GED. Billy moved back to Oregon where he would live for the remainder of his life, the last few years in Mill City.Billy loved his children and his grandchildren very much. He was a hardworking man, working as a laborer his whole life, most recently at a lumber mill. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing especially. Billy was a funny and likeable guy who could strike up conversation with just about anyone.Billy was preceded in death by his father Clifton. He is survived by his mother Charlene Loftin; sons Andrew Loftin of Stayton and Timothy Loftin of Alabama; siblings Roy Loftin, John Loftin, Jimmy Loftin, and Reba Bullard; and seven grandchildren.A private family service will be held at a later date.
