Billie Jean Cox

Lebanon- Billie Jean Cox went to be with The Lord on March 22, 2021.  She was born on September 26, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to Everett and Dorothy (Branscum) Butner.  As a child her family moved around but she had very fond memories of her time living in Chicago, Illinois.  She is survived by 11 children; Robert Halford, Chuck Dorris, Don Dorris, Katie Keeney, Darrell Halford, Dee George, Eddie Dorris, Alex Dorris, Tamra Dorris, Cindy Glazier and Tom Dorris; 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bob Butner. She was wed to Mickey Halford.  Later she married Charles Dorris and then Carroll Cox, all of which preceded her in passing. She had a commercial cleaning business in Eugene, Oregon for 30 years and because of her hard work, she gained many local clients and friends.  She also had a Taco Stand and was a water Aerobics Instructor for 5 years. There will be a memorial service at Cornerstone Bible Church in Albany on Saturday April 10th, 2021 at 11:30 AM with a luncheon and time for fellowship to follow.
