Billie Bert Burgess, Jr.

Billie Bert Burgess Jr. was born on October 14, 1954 in Seattle, Washington to Billie B. Burgess, Sr. and Geneva Berg. He grew up in the Seattle area and would eventually moved to Salem/Aumsville, Oregon. Billie served in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged and would become a lifetime member of Amvets.
Until his retirement he would worked as a long-haul truck driver.
He married Elizabeth Suzette Priest on September 14, 1985, in Salem, Oregon. Billie enjoyed playing darts, foosball and had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He passed away on January 16, 2023, in Corvallis, Oregon. He is survived by his wife, Suzette; children, Sheyene, Billie, Samantha, Geri and stepchildren, Susan Priest and Amie Davenport; siblings, Tim, Keith, Joanne and Scotty.
