Barry Z. Kraszewski

Aug. 5, 1943 – Aug. 3, 2012 Lyons, Oregon Barry Z. Kraszewski, age 68, of Lyons, passed away on August 3rd. .  Barry was born in Nottingham, England  on August 5, 1943. The son of Stanislaw and Marjorie Kraszewski.  He came to the United States with his family at the age of 6.  He grew up in Illinois and at the age of 18 moved to California, he then moved to Lyons many years ago.  He had worked doing irrigation for farmers and had also worked at Safeway.  He was an avid reader  and especially enjoyed reading science fiction.  He also enjoyed animals, especially dogs, cats and birds and horse racing.  He is survived by his sister, Lorraine Cychosz ; brothers, Michael and Anthony; several nieces,  and his very good friend, Brian Lily.  A private service will be held in Wisconsin.
