Aurora Murillo Carrizal

Aurora Murillo Carrizal, age 80, passed away on May 6, 2020 in Stayton.She was born on June 17, 1939 in El Paso, Texas to Ramon and Bertola (Monarrez) Murillo. She grew up in El Paso and graduated from Bowie High School. In 1966, Aurora moved to California. She worked as a cashier at Target for over 30 years! She loved helping people and people loved being around her. In 2015, Aurora moved to Oregon. She worked as a Dining Assistant at Turner Retirement Home. She was well loved and respected by her coworkers. She worked up until the time she became ill in April. Aurora enjoyed crocheting, cooking, crafts, spending time with her family and helping others. She is described as beautiful, strong and self-sufficient. She was a hardworking woman dispensing cheer and love, kindness and decency everywhere she went. She will be greatly missed. Aurora was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by her children, Salvador Carrizal (wife, Renee), Delia Theisman and Christy Carrizal; her brother Arturo Murillo; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Private Ceremony will be held at a later date.
