Arlene Rae (Linden) Zellner January 1, 1935- March 5, 2011 age 76 Arlene Rae Linden was born January 1, 1935 in Spokane, WA. Her late parents were Carl and Amy Linden. Arlene was the first baby born that year in Spokane. She attended Arlington Elementary, Rogers High School and Washington State University.  She met her husband to be, Peter “Jerry” Zellner, in Spokane while he was stationed in the Air Force.  They were married in Spokane September 11, 1953 and moved to Jerry’s home in Gervais, Oregon.  Arlene was a member of Sacred Heart church in Gervais for many years. She worked various jobs including Brooks Elementary school and a medical supply company in Salem.  But her job at the Woodburn Library the last 14 years was her most meaningful. She was an active member of the Woodburn Eagles and volunteered many hours raising funds for various organizations. Canine Companions was one of her most rewarding fundraisers. She made lifelong friends through her association with the Eagles. Arlene waited for the birth of her great grandson Sterling who arrived on March 3rd. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, sons Mark and Shane, grandson Joshua and granddaughter Rachel. She is survived by daughters; Amy Elza and her husband Billy Joe, LeAnne GrosJacques-Burt and her husband Donny Burt, sister; Virginia VanCamp, grandchildren; Amy Zellner, Eian Zellner, Abbi Jo Elza, Catherine (Zach) Coggins, Peter (Katie) GrosJacques, Michael (Katie Chevailer) GrosJacques, Kalene Zellner, Beth (Justin) Peterson, Mark (Adira) Zellner, and Mikhael and Orrin Burt, great grandchildren Lena and Sterling Coggins, and Betty Burt.  Services will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Gervais, OR on Friday, March 25 at 10am. Reception following.  An additional memorial will be held at the Woodburn Eagles Lodge on Friday, March 25 beginning at 5pm. Join us as we celebrate Arlene’s life. Arrangements entrusted to Weddle Funeral Services Stayton, OR.
