Annette Bailey

Annette Bailey  August 22, 1930 February 14, 2017 Salem, Oregon Annette Bailey went home in the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on February 14th. Annette was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Bill and Mabel Couberly on August 22, 1930. She lived in Twin Falls all through her schooling years until attending the University of Colorado where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She then married Richard Bailey and moved to Nampa, Idaho where she taught school. Later, Annette found herself in Oregon where her husband accepted a job in the grass seed industry. Since then she has lived in Sun Valley, Idaho and Cathlamet, Washington before living the remainder of her life in Salem. Annette loved to knit and sew but her passion was painting seascapes and flowers as she was a masterful and respected painter. She also loved ice cream especially pralines and cream. Annette is survived by her son Rich Bailey, her daughter in law Susan Bailey and two grandchildren Christine and Acacia Bailey all of Salem.  An ice cream wake celebrating her life is being planned for a later date.
